Minted in Cincinnati Ohio from American made .999 pure copper, it has a minimum weight of 1oz AVDP per coin. The coining dies for Osborne Mint copper rounds are satin frosted, after which the backgrounds are carefully polished to a mirror finish, giving each coin a cameo-like appearance. Our traditional style rounds are struck with reeded edges like a US quarter, and made coin flip.
Obverse
Features a fully armed soldier standing proudly with an M-16 Rifle in his hands. The top reads "Men + Arms." Along the bottom reads "Safety in Numbers."
Reverse
The words "Protect the Future" are written above a shield protecting the people in front of a large fist. Across the bottom reads the weight and purity above "Real Metal Real Value".
Pure copper rounds, like the one ounce .999 Men + Arms are sensitive to the oils of the human hand. GMRgold recommends handling your coins with gloves, or by the edges to avoid staining the surface. Store in a sulfur-free environment, like the pvc tubing, or capsules to ensure the longevity of your investment.
