Chris Kyle was better known to avid readers and patriots as the American Sniper. After serving in combat, he returned home to write his autobiography by the same name. The book was a smashing success and reached the top of the New York Times bestseller list. However, Kyle was interested in more than fame and fortune. He wanted to help military and first responders' families. His vision for a charitable foundation dedicated to these American Heroes was the basis for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation.
Chris worked toward the establishment of his foundation before his death, but it was his wife Taya who brought the foundation into reality. The foundation was launched on Veterans Day 2014 and has since offered Revitalization Retreats to give military and first responder husbands and wives a chance to get away together after stressful deployments to enjoy each other?s company, work through marriage issues and gain tools for better communication.
