Dansco Coin Albums have been a longtime companion for both expert numismatists and beginning coin collectors. The Peace Dollars 1921-1935 Dansco Album comes in a 5/8" binder and holds up to 24 coins. The album has 2 Dansco pages (series: 7175-1 to 7175-2), each one holding and displaying all Peace dollars minted from 1921-1935. Peace dollars were designed by medalist Anthony de Francisci. The first coins were struck in December, 1921, but it wasn't until January, 1922, when they were put in circulation. Peace dollars are made of 90% silver and 10% copper. They are the last of the dollars series to be struck in silver for circulation. The coins measure 38.1 mm in diameter and each weighs 26.73 grams. Peace dollars were coined at the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints. Dansco Coin Albums have their pages attached with metal screws, making it easy to add and replace.
